After a very successful split 7-inch with the legendary Num Skull, and 1997's monumental split CD with Pax Mortis, the unstoppable Sea of Tranquillity have returned with nearly 70 minutes of extreme Metal. The Omegan Ruins is a diverse release, incorporating some Traditional Metal, Thrash, and Black Metal into the established Sea of Tranquillity Death Metal style. This makes for a somewhat experimental album that is still extremely brutal and very memorable.
